Very interesting. Graduated 1970. Have been living in UK for the last 35years but do meet up with ex-classmates regularly in KL. I have fond memories of Ms Murugasu and Ms Soo and met both in Taiping in 1997. I am interested in joining.

really glad now have web site to keep in touch. graduated 1974 living in kl but returned regularly to taiping as my family still living there. hopefully there is a meeting for out station like us eg. over chineses new year. still a good job done

Congratulation CGs for a job well done in attempting to gather the ‘old girls’ together.

I was posted to teach in SMC in 1984 and stayed on for 19years before I finally retired in 2002. Believe me, those were wonderful years simply because YOU girls made my day!

Hi gals,

It is indeed a pity I missed out the gathering (was away in JB for family matters at the last minute)… was in fact waiting for the day when an old and graceful lady like SMC has finally gathered her chicks. Syabas to all who put in their effort and priceless time and talent to set up this site for us to stay connected.
I have been teaching in SMC since 1977 till 2003. My 3 beautiful daughters were born and studied there too… receiving the best of education beyond compare.
Keep the Convent flag flying…and let the spark of fire glowing.

It’s been a long long time (25 years) since I left Convent Tpg & Taiping itself. Yeah, I still remember Ms Murugasu & Ms Soo so glad to see their photos here. Merry X’mas & Happy New Year 2008 to all ex-teachers & students of SM Convent Taiping !!
